The WAIDM Advisory Board Annual Meeting - Friday, May 29 2009

The annual meeting of the WAIDM Advisory Board was held on Friday, May 29.

The meeting was attended by Board members from both locally and from overseas, including WAIDM’s President, Professor Arnold Depickere, Deputy Secretary-General, Mr Steve K. Ngo, and Deputy President, Mr D. Z. Khan. Also in attendance as observers were WAIDM’s student research assistant, Ms Bhavani Parameswaran, and WAIDM’s two FDI Moot Interns Pricilla Halim and James Losari, recently arrived from Indonesia.

Among the topics discussed were planned training courses in 2010 and beyond, links with arbitration institutes and practitioners in Singapore and Indonesia, and the possibility of organising a major international Arbitration Conference in Singapore.
