On Thursday 17 September 2009 Danica Goodbody, James Day and Peter Sadler won the annual Law Week Academic Challenge. Academic Challenge is a lighthearted contest of mental ability between representatives from all four Western Australia law schools. The night was hosted by Mr John Quigley MLA who provided inspirational insight, and provided much entertainment for the crowd. Earlier in the week, Danica Goodbody and Jasmin Last won the Law Week Negotiations Competition. With these two wins, Murdoch were the overall winners of the Law Week Quad Law Competitions.
