Murdoch Law School will be offering the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice as from 2 nd Semester 2006. This Certificate is the new entry level standard for those who do not hold a current legal practising certificate and want to register as Migration Agents. 

On Wednesday 8 March 2006 , the Chairman of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) and President of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA), Mr Len Holt signed contracts with The Australian National University, Griffith University , Murdoch University, and Victoria University to deliver the Graduate Certificate.  Also in attendance at the signing ceremony were representatives of each of the universities, the DIMA and, special guest, The Hon. Andrew Robb, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs.  Mr Len Holt congratulated the four universities who successfully tendered for the contracts to deliver the Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice.  This post graduate program was developed for the migration advice profession, in collaboration with each of the universities.
