Postgraduate Certificate in Chinese Law - 2008

Murdoch Law School’s innovative new programme, the Postgraduate Certificate in Chinese Law, recently concluded its intensive teaching block at Zhengzhou University in central China. The month-long stay in China is an exceptionally unique, enjoyable and invaluable experience for our students, who all proved themselves to be excellent and competent.
The students in the programme agreed that without coming to China, they would not have been able to understand the real China at all. Education should be ‘three-dimensional’. Classroom teaching cannot dynamically convey to students the full images of the real world. This is particularly true when talking about the current legal reform process taking place in China – one of Australia’s premier trading partners -- in the context of its complicated progress of modernization.
Here we present to you a selection of photos from the students' visit to Zhengzhou.
