The Annual Reception for the Legal Profession was held on Thursday, 6 December 2007. Approximately 100 people, including representatives of the legal profession, the judiciary and alumni attended the Function. The Dean of Law, Professor Gabriël Moens welcomed the guests and reviewed the activities of the Law School during the last twelve months. Professor Arnold Depickere, who served as Executive Dean of the Division of Arts, was honoured for his work undertaken on behalf of the Law School. Following the presentation of a gift to him, he provided our guests with information on the restructuring of the University. Law students David Jones, Ernest Chua and Associate Lecturer, Rebecca Faugno combined to surprise the attendees with an entertaining and very professional musical performance.
