JACKSON McDONALD: PERTH LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR 2008

The Mettle Australasian Law (ALB) Awards Dinner was held in the Westin, Sydney on Thursday, 22 May 2008. More than 750 lawyers attended the Dinner. According to George Walmsley, ALB’s Chief Operating Officer and Regional Managing Editor, hundreds of legal and industry professionals helped the Awards by contributing to this major event. Murdoch Law School sponsored the Perth Law Firm of the Year Award, which was one of the thirty-three awards on offer. The Dean of Law, Professor Gabriël A. Moens attended the function on behalf of Murdoch University and presented the Winner with its Award. The Perth Law Firm of the Year award was conferred on Jackson McDonald. Jackson McDonald also received this Award in 2007. The other finalists for this Award were Blakiston & Crabb, Cochrane & Lishman, Lavan Legal, Pullinger Readhead Lucas and Steinepreis Paganin.
