
The Honourable Justice Michael Kirby, Justice of the High Court of Australia visited Murdoch Law School on Thursday, 26 October 2006 to speak with students. He gave a lecture entitled Judicial Dissent: Annoying Irrelevancy or Institutional Necessity? . His Honour generously answered many questions put to him by attendees. As always, Justice Kirby's address was informative, interesting and inspirational; students and staff greatly appreciated the presentation. The lecture took place in the Freehills Electronic Moot Court; 150 students and staff attended Justice Kirby's lecture.
