The 2006 MSLS Hypotheticals
The 2006 MSLS Hypotheticals were held on Thursday, 5 October in the Freehills Electronic Moot Court of Murdoch Law School. The Hypotheticals involved a panel of people and a moderator. The moderator took the panel through a set of interlinked and developing scenarios. At various points involving difficult legal, ethical or social dilemmas, panelists were asked for their thoughts, opinions or possible actions. The panelists included Dr Vernon Nase, Mary Anne Kenny, David Stewart, Associate Professor Gail Phillips, J Gilmour, Katrina Dunn, David Fear, M Clark, Kate Norman and Dean Gabriël Moens. The event was moderated by an inspirational Dr Tony Buti, Senior Lecturer in the Law School. The panel answered questions relating to The Murdoch Advocate: Market Forces, Civil Liberties and a Law School. The Event was capably organised for the Murdoch Student Law Society (supported by the School of Law) by Ernest Chua, who is also a member of Murdoch’s Moot Court Bench.
