 Murdoch School of Law Annual Retreat |

 The School of Law held its Annual Retreat on Friday, 9 June 2006 in the Tradewinds Hotel in Fremantle. Law School staff discussed the state of the Law School and developed strategies for the enhancement of the School’s reputation. The School reviewed its Teaching and Learning processes and developed research strategies. There were special presentations on School Development Process by Kate Lowe and Pamela Struthers of the University’s Teaching and Learning Committee. Associate Professor Gail Phillips provided information on RQF developments. Professor Michael Borowitzka, President of the Academic Council reported on relevant University developments. The Retreat provided an opportunity to Law School staff to discuss developments in an informal way and to celebrate the considerable achievements of the School. The School is a vibrant unit, which pursues excellence in teaching and research. The Retreat was followed by dinner. |
