The School’s Retreat for 2009 was held in the Mulberry on Swan Winery on Friday, 4 September. The Dean of Law, Professor Gabriël Moens talked about the Continuing Search for Excellence in the Law School. There were sessions on Marketing the Law School and on Research. Most Law School activities were reviewed, including the School’s prestigious global programmes, including the Chinese and Macerata programmes and the Human Rights programme which will be held in June 2010 for the first time. The Faculty Dean, Mr Christopher Doepel dealt with strategic directions for the School. Naturally, the Retreat was followed by a Wine Tasting and Reception.
