VISIT BY ZHENGZHOU UNIVERSITY DELEGATION

A delegation from Zhengzhou University visited the Law School from Tuesday, 12 August to Friday, 15 August 2008. The delegation consisted of Professor Dr Maosheng Shi, Associate Dean, Mr Limin An, Associate Dean and Professor Dr Deshung Hu of Zhengzhou Law School. They met Professor Gary Martin, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Mr Christopher Doepel, Faculty Dean, Faculty of Law and Business and the Dean of the Law School, Professor Gabriël Moens. The delegation discussed the existing Murdoch Postgraduate Certificate in Chinese Law and made several proposals for the extension of the collaboration between Murdoch and Zhengzhou. The visit was coordinated by Dr Ken Shao, Lecturer in the School of Law and by Brigitte Russman, Administrative Officer. Ken and Brigitte also took our guests on a one-day tour of Perth, visiting Cottesloe Beach, Parliament House, the Supreme Court  and Kings Park.
