Domestic Violence Legal Worker
Kerryn Lewis started at SCALES in late January 2005 in the newly created and funded position of Domestic Violence Legal Worker. Kerryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies and a Bachelor in Social Science from Edith Cowan University. Kerryn has extensive experience working in the field of family and domestic violence Kerryn’s work complements and supports Glynes’ work and her casework is supervised by Glynes. Kerryn’s special interests are family and domestic violence, indigenous issues and tenancy.
Kerryn represents SCALES on the Rockingham Kwinana Regional Domestic Violence Committee; National Network of Indigenous Women’s Legal Services; SMIFAS; DV Conference Organising Committee, has taken on the responsibility of presenting the family law information forums and regularly does presentations to groups requesting information on family and domestic violence and tenancy. Kerryn is a Yamaji girl and hails from the Geraldton area.
