The WAIDM-ACICA Australian Vis Pre-Moot

The Western Australian Institute of Dispute Management (WAIDM), in conjunction with The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) and the Murdoch University School of Law are proud hosts of the annual WAIDM-ACICA Australian Vis Pre-Moot.

This competition is a preparatory event in advance of the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, and its’ sister competition, the “Vis East” Moot in Hong Kong.

The third Australian Vis Pre-Moot was held at the Murdoch University School of Law in Perth, Western Australia, from 16-18 March 2012.

This Pre-Moot provides teams with an opportunity to participate in simulated arbitration hearings and to network with members of other teams. Participating students will receive constructive feedback from practising arbitrators and practitioners.
