Welcome to Murdoch School of Law

Murdoch Law School is located at the Murdoch University Campus at South Street, just north of North Lake, about 15 kilometres south of the Perth Central Business District and eight kilometres east of the port city of Fremantle.

The peaceful bushland setting makes the Murdoch Campus one of the most beautiful University campuses in Australia. The grounds surrounding the University buildings have been landscaped to include predominantly Australian native trees and shrubs. The plants provide an interesting collection of Australian flora which is a distinctive attraction.

Renowned Human Rights Lawyer Visits Murodch Law School:On Thursday, 4 March 2010 renowned Human Rights Lawyer, Mr George Bizos, SC visited Murdoch Law School. He presented a paper in the Kim Beazley Lecture Theatre about Judicial Independence – The Apartheid Years.

Freehills Demonstration Moot: The annual Freehills Demonstration Moot was held at the Murdoch Law School on Thursday, 25 February 2010. An enthusiastic audience of Murdoch law students watched a mooting demonstration by experienced litigators Paul D Evans and Konrad de Kerloy, who argued for the appellant and respondent respectively.
