BE A LAW STUDENT FOR A DAY

Murdoch Law School organised its annual Be a Law Student for a Day event on Sunday, 28 May 2006 in the Freehills Electronic Moot Court. High school students were provided with comprehensive information about the School, legal careers and student life. The Murdoch Students Law Society (MSLS) made a very important contribution to the success of the event and provided a student perspective on being a law student. There were also two lectures presented respectively by Mr Guy Hall on Treatment of Violent Offenders and by Catherine Doran on Alternative Dispute Resolution. Professor Neil McLeod conducted a most successful information session. The event was directed by Ms Lyn Tooley. This event followed on from a successful Law Breakfast which was held on Wednesday, 24 May 2006.
