Paul is a senior member of Freehills’ national litigation team and head of the Perth office litigation practice. Paul practices in the areas of corporations and competition law with a particular interest in mergers and acquisitions litigation, directors’ liability actions and economic law covering a diverse range of complex commercial litigation. He also advises clients on competition law obligations and supervises litigation and compliance programs.
Freehills has the pre-eminent litigation practice in Perth, and Paul is consistently recognised as one of the top litigation lawyers in Western Australia (WA Business News 2004, 2005; Chambers Global 3000, recommended in 2003-2006 Legal Profiles 2001).

Paul graduated with honours degrees in law from the University of Western Australia in 1982 and completed a Master of Laws with distinction in 1996. He has been a partner at Freehills since 1987.
